Ancient Entity--The Final Dawn{digital}{Independent}

 

Ancient Entity is a  solo project  coming out of Sweden's old school death metal scene and this is a review of the debut demo.The Final Dawn  is three tracks of pure death metal that is raw but shows some well executed musicial passages.The first song is  Suffering and is a good song that starts off with some heavy and pounding drums then the guitars pick up to a faster pace.The guitars are played with both heavy mid paced patterns and some faster guitars both styles are done with some well played patterns.The vocals are raw old school death metal growls.The second track is The Final Dawn starts off a little faster and aggressive with some aggressive fast guitar patterns that are well performed.The drumming is a mix of mid paced to a faster drum pace.The vocals raw,old school death metal growls.The final song is Lord Of Death is a faster paced song with some heavy pounding drums.The guitars are played with some memorable fast paced patterns that are well written.Obviously the band does have some of the old school Swedish sound but doesn't really try to copy any one band instead plays old school death metal that is well delievered.If you are looking for a new band to check out then why not give  Ancient Entity a listen today.                                                                                      Ancient Entity

Execution--Scorched Remains{digital}{Independent}

 

Execution is a four man band coming out of Sweden and this is a review of the bands debut demo.Scorched Remains contains five tracks of  fast paced thrashing death metal that is raw and well performed.The guitars are performed with fast paced guitar patterns that are played with intensity and aggression.The guitarists plays some impressive solo's and patterns.The drums are well executed with some insanely fast drum patterns that are performed with power and experience.Like the guitars the drummer does perform some memorable and well executed  drum passages.The vocals are a mix of gruff growls and screams that are intense.For a debut demo this band has crafted some well executed thrash and death metal so defintly check this out if you are a fan of old school thrash and death metal.

Savage--Septic Tomb EP.{digital}{Independent}
