It’s like he has embraced the cold darkness of Finnish winter, and chose to immerse himself into an inner exploration of sounds and dimension… You can tangibly hear the growth with each recording. This is Tommi’s 9th full length under the Desecresy moniker, since the bands creation in 2009 after the demise of Slugathor. What you get is eight tracks of downtuned Death Metal, evoking cosmic landscapes of apocalypse and necromancy. I could describe it as a blend of atmosphere, a hypnotic and throbbing vortex, which occasionally bursts with speed and then swings back into a pounding tempo. The vocals remain as deep as humanly possible, serving more as another instrument. From start to finish, The Secret of Death leaves you as an empty vessel of decay… Get this!
