Molok is a duo coming out of Argentina's black metal scene and this is a review of the bands debut full length.Cosmogonia Infernal contains ten songs of raw well executed and performed black metal.Krist handles the guitars for the band and they are played with razorsharp fast and crazed guitar passages that are aggressive.For the most part the guitars are a whirlwind of speed and aggression there are some well performed passages.The guitars do slow to a more controlled mid paced range in a few of the songs for a nice balance.Krist also takes care of the drum duties which are blasting drum patterns that are crazed and intense.Like the guitars he does perform ssome well executed mid paced drum patterns along with the more violent blast beats.The vocals are taken care of by Goat Holocaust who does a mix of raw,high pitched screams and screeches.Goat Holocaust does add some heavier death metal growls throughout a few of the songs but the vocals are mainly high pitched screams.This is my first encounter with Argentina's Molok but this is a great release of quality black metal if you are a fan of traditional fast paced black metal then i highly recomend checking this band out today.
